About us

Jane is a Voice and Performance Coach. She directs the Leeds-based theatre company Trio Literati, after lecturing regularly on acting at the National Museum for Photography, Film and Television, Bradford. Jane is a member and Trustee of the Voice Care Network UK  and since 1999 has run Personal Communication Skills Workshops at the Skills Centre, Leeds University. Since 2004 she has been an accredited communication skills trainer for the Law Society of England and Wales. In 2008 she received an MBE for her services to drama.

Jo Donnelly

Jo is a Speech and Language Therapist. Following 16 years experience at Leeds General Infirmary specialising in the treatment and prevention of voice disorders she has lectured regularly at Leeds Beckett University, working on communication skills with students and staff. Her work as a tutor for the Voice Care Network has included training of BBC presenters. She regularly runs voice care workshops for teachers and lecturer.s

Leeds Voice Days founders, Jane and Jo, have combined their different backgrounds – drama/ theatre with medical/physiological – to create a broad based, knowledgeable and dynamic approach to voice and communication.
